The Questionable Question Not really taking much in when it comes to post-rock.

Atmospheric, vast tracks with an oddly fascinating atmosphere. The music does not appear to engage much with the listener, but at times this is not necessary.

Just sit back and let the landscapes unravel themselves ... Favorite track: Bloomery Road (Valley Strings I).

about

this album was conceived from recordings made with guitarist, Henry Jones in the mountains of Harpers Ferry, WV around 2013, and later edited/finished 2018-2019 while living in Rochester, NY. this material was a unique deviation from what i've been publishing and has since opened the doors for a whole new sound for me, creatively. I obsessed over refining these tracks for years, and they still aren't perfect. but at some point they had to be let loose in order to move forward, and i'm very happy with the final result. River Bells & Valley Strings personally invokes imagery of West Virginia back roads and all of the sacred nooks and breathtaking views the area has to offer. i published this material thinking of home. thanks for listening. - Luke
